IMO, they're a solid tire, and worthy of consideration for any 4x4 vehicle.
I also love how aggressive they look for an AT.
I'm not sure about the 32x11.5 size availability.
Thanks for the recommendation. I'm not yet sure if I want MT or AT tires for the next purchase. I really like MTs for off road and snow, but I've been using the XJ as a daily driver lately so an AT might be better. The new BFG AT KO2 looks like a nice redesign, too.

The BFG KO2's get great reviews. Another tire I've read about that has great reviews are Hercules Tires. Hoping too get a Cherokee tomorrow, and I plan on installing the Hercules Terra Trac ATII 😜👍🏻 Around $130 ea

I just put a set of Toyo Open Country ATII's on mine. Based on favorable reviews from a few members, several favorable reviews from off-road magazines, and the fact that Toyo recently redesigned the tire with several changes, including a change to the rubber compound that they claim improves treadlife over the previous version by 40%, I thought I'd give them a chance. I've had them for a week and put about 250 miles on them. So far I love them! They have a 60K mile treadlife warranty.

I've run BFG's, and they are great but got pretty darn scary with the hydroplaning if there was more than just a thin film of water on the roads. I've also run Firestone Destination ATs', and they were MUCH better about hydroplanning than the BFGs, rode quiet, and tracked straight. But they wore out very fast. The Toyos seem even quieter than the Destinations, and most certainly quieter than the BFGs. They did well in the heavy rain we got a few days ago (flooding in Texas) and have good road manners. Plus, for an AT they have a pretty aggressive look that really compliments my XJ. For my size of 235/75-15 I paid $640 "out the door" for a set of four.

I got some 33x12.5 cooper discoverer stts this summer and I love them. They are a tame mud tire. Only complaint is that they didnt balance very well with my quadratec alloy wheels that i have with them. Now i havent had them in snow as we have yet to get any but on all the terrains they have been quite good. Name: DSCN1616.jpg

I have the copper at3 in a 32 1150. Tire is very quiet and rides smooth and has good tread. They are fairly inexpensive as well, I got them for 170$ a tire. But next time I buy tires I will probably go with the copper stt.

My brother had the at3s on his 98 dodge 2500 and he loves them and he says they are good in the snow but i wanted a more aggressive tire but wanted to stick with cooper because they are really quite on the road. Either way both are really good choices IMO

Thank you all for your tire suggestions and feedback. I still have time to decide, but I am leaning a bit more towards an aggressive AT since I just don't get on the trails as much as I used to.

I have run Duratracs and KO2's on my Rubicon. I love both of them. The DT's look great and the KO2's are great on road and really quiet. I really love this build and this is my plan. I'm looking to buy a '99 tomorrow if all checks out. It has 31's and 3" lift. I will be running the flats as well. I currently drive a '15 Rubicon that I need to sell because we expanded our business. I'm going to take a huge bath on it with so much invested, but a paid for XJ will allow me to free up almost $1K/month in garage rental, car payment and insurance. I'm going to regret selling it, but I've always wanted another XJ since my first '99 back in '99.

I love this. I hope to do something similar with my Jeep. Clean, and simple.

Very cool toy. You did a lot of what I am planning. I went with 3.5" RE lift with the good shocks. Did extended brake lines, double shear adjustable track bar and good year dura tracks that measure about 31.7" tall. For me it's a great size. I still want to do the sway bar disconnects, 4:10 gears with maybe a clutch pack in the rear and aussie locker up front.sye, Also plan on a winch bumper. Rear bumper that will hold a full size spare and a roof rack of some sort. Should do anything I need it to do set up like that.

Just did my axle u-joints and hub beRings. Next on the list is the cooling system. Have everything just need time to do it.

I've had my wheels rebalanced and now the vibes are gone. So, I guess the decision there is to wait a while since I still have 50% tread life left.
