I went wheeling this weekend to see how the new arms work out. They definitely give me more flex. I wanted to get higher up the rock, but I ran out of traction with the open diffs.

While reviewing the flexing pictures, I noticed my brake line was very close to being fully stretched. Thankfully, I ran out of traction otherwise I may have sprung a leak. I'm planning to either replace the lines with longer extensions or bend the hard lines and relocate the bracket (I haven't decided which as for some reason I don't like the idea of bending the hard lines).

Chevy 1500 brake lines are worth the $12 each...it's worth the safety of yourself and others if you hadn't already damaged the original lines already...

Interesting - are you running a 3-inch lift or something greater?

Thanks for the link. My concern is those are nearly five inches longer which is a lot of slack to deal with on a 3-inch lift.

That makes sense then as longer brake lines are required with that size lift, but bending the hard lines with a 3-inch lift should be sufficient.

I got this set that has poly bushings and currie johnny joints to have a balance between ride quality and flexibility.

Back in July I ended up putting on some Crown Performance brake lines. Some day I'll replace those RC shocks with Bilsteins...
