Very nice build. See alotta guys here with 6" + lift. Not very often you see someone with a lower lift and knowing that they don't need to go higher. I have RC 3" and going to step up another inch or maybe 2 so that I may run LA's. Other than that, I don't need 6 + inches. Loving that house too. Where about's is Divide? Close to Cortez?

I was able to make it to town today and while I was there picked up some flat black paint. After work I setup my painting area in the garage (hung a drop cloth) and got it done.
It's good timing as I will have time this weekend to hopefully complete the install and looking at the forecast for this weekend, we're supposed to get some snow. I won't have to worry about airing out the garage in the cold since the painting is all done!

Thanks! I've got a couple other things to install after this but I don't know when they'll arrive yet. After that this may be a quiet thread until I find some more money.

Finally... a build thread by another outdoors enthusiast. Subscribed, and really looking forward to some pictures from those trailheads you mentioned!

Being an avid outdoors man, I love what you've got going on here.
So far, everything you've done, I've got on the dry erase board in the garage.
I'm planning:
3-4" of lift, lsd rear, locker up front, 31x10.50s, flat flares, a rack with lights and hi-lift, axe and shovel mounts, rocker sliders, winch bumper, swing away carrier on a custom rear bumper and some armor underneath. After that, I want to build an expedition/overland style trailer from an M416 military trailer to tag along on my adventures.
I'm subscribing to this for further inspiration. TY for keeping us updated.
Edit ti add: I must really like this build, I've replied to it and subscribed twice. LOL!!!

Yeah, I hear the taxes in NM are far cheaper on vehicles. I know a guy in Phoenix who bought and licensed his truck in NM but drives it in AZ...I'm sure there's a lot of those types of folk.

I like what I've read about the e-locker, but they don't make it for the 8.25 axle which leaves me with ARB which is even more pricey. So, I haven't decided yet...definitely needs gears though as 3.07 is way to high. However, if I'm gonna put new gears in, I might as well put a locker in as well since the diff will be opened up already...
