So far I haven't had any problems with it. It supports my heavy spare just fine, but I haven't loaded it down with a bunch of other cargo yet. The most I've put up there since I got it has only been a Christmas tree. It seems to be very sturdy as I've tried wiggling it and it just doesn't move. Hope this helps.

Went to the junkyard this weekend to pick up some bits. Got a front-left wheel well cover, air vent that's not broken, normal rearview mirror (since the one I had was auto-dimming but didn't work because nobody hooked up power to it...I might still use it later on), ZJ gas tank skid plate, and an oil cap.

I'm still looking for a factory foglight switch (either from XJ or TJ) so if you come across one and want to mail it to me, let me know.

Sounds like a successful weekend! As for the switch, check around on ebay. I have seen them go for around 15 if you dont need it right away and are willing to wait

Thanks for the ebay tip, but I might be waiting a long time before getting one anywhere near $15. They seem to all be going for $40 which way overpriced.

Yeah I had seen a few about a year ago..and haven't checked since then. I have a set of fogs, just haven't gotten around to putting them on for the same reason; I'm looking for a factory switch

I sent a PM for a listing that I found

Got my Banks exhaust header delivered. Now I just need to find the time to install it.

Installed the new exhaust manifold today. Unfortunately I've swapped a cracked exhaust manifold for a leaky fuel injector. One of the o-rings got damaged so I need to find a new one if I can. I'd rather not replace the injector if I can help it.

Please tell me you haven't bought fog lights yet?

If not then let the persuading begin! I planned to run 4 Hella 700's on my roof..about 300 bucks worth of lights, all 55w. Then 2 more Hella 500 fogs on my bumper. And 2 stock 55w jeep fog lights for back up lights.
All together thats 440w, divide by 12V you get about 37A..so a 37A draw for all those lights..although they may never all be on together for long...your alternators 105 or 110A..so a 1/3 of your alt is now running you AUX lights....about again if you haven't bought yet, then you can spend that money wiser

Rigid LEDS baby! I just wised up..bought a 20" Sr hybrid bar. I only got the SR series because a buddy sold me it at 400, vs 575 new.
I would run a 10" E series hybrid, its a fog/spot..throws light like 500 meters! INSANE. BEst part is that its 70W but because its LED it only draws 3amps
http://www.rigidindustries.com/product-p/eseries10.htm

Price is about 400.
And for a backup light, buy a Dually normal, or D2..D2s are update 6 led vs 4...but a dually diffused light..its about 3x3 and pulls 1A. And they throw light insanely wide & far..way better than 2 halogens!
1 of these run about 110 bucks or 199 for 2.

I am running a 20" SR hyrbid (flood & spot) on my roof, 2 hella 500 fogs on my bumper..and will be ordering 3 dually D2's..1 for the back and 1 for each side as camping lights.
I'll be pulling about 10A, and 5A of that is from the hellas on my bumper lol. Just give you something to think about...they are AMAZING!

And check there durability testing on youtube..these guys drug there light down the freeway, got off and turned it on! Also shot the crap out of one with a AR and it never died! I'm in love with the things.

Go through these pics..you will find a single Dually D2 diffsued mounted to a tire swing...1A draw and the light rivals the sun!
