Have you decided what you are going to do with the front yet?
I was just going to run my hydro assist, weld it, and install this kit.. cable instead of vacuum operated.
The alloys in the 44 are holding or I def. would not have let these go. Good to see them getting some love though.

(the car) i bought this for my girlfriend, thats where my last couple paychecks went ha, but dont worry my next couple paychecks are going to my build!!
So here is a shot of my 3 cars, white honda is my work car, red car is my girlfriends car, and of course the jeep
Before anyone scolds me for buying my gf a car you should know we have been together for 3 years and she is always helpin me work on the heep (almost daily basis usually) so she deserves it, she even helped pay for part of it.
Anyways.... I will be ordering some STUFF from ballistic fab this weekend, been pluggin everything into the link calculator trying to figure out how im gonna set it up. So far the rear is most likely going back 3-5", and double triangulated 4-link. havent decided what joints im gonna use or if ill reuse my current heims (they are basically brand new) i want beef, but also flexy joints oh and somewhat cheap. But i hate the dam thread and measurement **** you have to go through to order them and then order tube adapters to fit the heims and DOM i use. Fuel tank will be moved up a couple inches and sit in the middle of the frame (false floor built over it)
that way i can retain stock pump and tank, and some cargo space. Also i will be gearing axles to 5.38 or 5.13, Trying to decide whats best because i will still be driving to and from trails... What do you guys think?...
So for this week im broke, but friday i get paid, then ill be broke again-but this time for my benefit
But cory im glad your 44 shafts are holdin up!! otherwise i wouldnt be going to tons haha! I have been waitin for like 5 months for a good deal to pop up on axles, thats why i jumped on it when you mentioned them! Oh and dont worry they will get PLENTY of love, but i will have a very abusive relationship with them so hopefully they can handle it

Carl Whitmore lives out in Magna and he can machine threads at home. He charges 10.00 per end to drill and tap it. Ditch the tube adapters. He has built a few things for me and quality is top notch. He can drill and tap any thread and usually has the material you need on hand, and sells it for pretty much cost.

How do I get a hold of him? Did you do yours that way? I would be worried about ripping the threads out...

I'll PM you his #. I wish I would have done mine that way. I pulled the threads out of one of Ballistic adapters, not to mention their Ballisitic joints are junk. He has built a couple steering setups for me and i've never had a problem with anything he's done.

Have you come across this build yet? Not a ton of info. But kind of interesting, he made everything from the dodge work, even the track bar. (which I still have if you want) You could ask him for more detailed pics possibly? His last login was July 25th, so he's been active recently.
