well new filter didn't hel time to take it to the mechanic looks like its the fuel pump UGH! thanks for everyones help i realy appreciate it!

Before you go off half-cocked, did you check for power at the pump?

i don't know how to do that i did try different relays but it didnt help. How can i check the power?

Changing out relays isn't going to do anything for you if the power isn't there. First you'll need to get yourself a multimeter .

hey have any of you guys known the fuel pump to go bad at the same time as the CPS? if not i just got taken replaced both

Haven't specifically seen it happen no. Strange things do happen though so I wouldn't completely rule it out.

A lot of times people are told "it's the fuel pump" when it may be electrical and not the pump. Replacing a fuel pump is costly and should be diagnosed to be sure it's not something else. A friend of mine had the dealership charge him $700 for a pump and then find a broken wire! They STILL charged him for the pump! It was a Pontiac.

i do believe that this is what happened to me all though it was 440 for both fuel pump and sensor it *&^$ me off that i got screwed over UGH!
