'02 Cooling fan harness connector..locking tab
Is there a trick to get this out?
I want to jump the fan to 12 volts to see if I am looking at a new relay or
new relay AND fan. Its looks like the tab it is slid under the top of the connector body. There is a raise portion of the tab on one side and what look like "fingers" on the other. I'm clueless at this point on how to pull the tab and open the connector up...

I just registered on this forum to ask the exact same question! I'm sure I could brute-force the thing apart but in my experience, right after I do something like that I figure out how I could have gone about it without breaking the part. Don't want to go there again...

If it's little red tab then you have to slide it to the right i beleave or the direction of the raised portion of the tab. After you do that then you can press down on the release part of the connection to pull it apart the little red tab or lock is ment to keep the connection from comming apart on vital parts to the jeep.
