Coil buckets were to wide for my 2" offset brackets at axle width. Had to make my own out of ¼ plate. But using the retainer from the Barnes bracket

Front end setup sitting on stock coils. The plate off the bottom of the frame gives me 4" of lift

Picture of the rear setup and sitting on stock coils also like the front 4" of lift mounted off the bottom of the frame with a 2" offset bracket

Test flex. Only had it up 20" that was all the higher I felt comfortable with going with a jack under the tire

Ran out of clearance in the rear. Still need to cut the body for clearance. Only about ½ of total flex at this height

After some prying and pulling I was able to get the 249 split. The 231 was a lot easier to get apart. To my surprise the guy I bought it from had put a 6 planetary gear in it. And luckily it was the same as my 249 input. Put it all back together and ready to put in. I had to order some new case to tranny studs. Couldn't get the ones out if the 249 without messing them up.
