2" or 2.5" BB???
hi there, im going to lift my 98 5.9 v8 with a 2" BB because all the money went with my transmission repair, (still at the shop they couldnt get it rigth, the said that there was a problem with the turbine.... so....) also i had to replace tie rod, steering damper, alinegment, balance, because i had DW... and i readed that the stock heigth for this models was 18" measured from the center of the wheel to the lower part of the wheel openings, of course because of the years the springs sagged, and i have a 17.2" heigth aprox. should i go with a 2.5" BB to compensate for the sagging or should i stay with 2" dont wanna upgrade track bar or shocks yet. thanks

It's the general concensus on the forums that anything over a 2" coil spacer is crossing the threshold of safety...plus,if you don't want to do anything with your TB or shocks stick with 2"-ers.

part of the reason for only going with the 2 in bb is because in the rear there just isnt enough on the bump stop to put a 2.5 bb without worrying about loosing the rear coils.
