Default 2006 3.7L cherokee engine swap -- STUCK at structural cover

Ok, I am butt-crack deep in to this 3.7L 4wd engine swap
and really regretting some of the decisions I have made
in this lifetime..

I got allot f the "hard" parts done /out . Notably the 4 exhaust
manifold bolts attaching to the Y pipe, the starter, the front
drive shaft, many of the bellhousing bolts and all of the
bolts on the "structural cover"

Here is where it goes sideways. I have the structural cover
loose, but I cant get the damn thing out of the way enough
to get access to the torque converter bolts. The front 4wd
cross member, the oil pan, and the trans all form a great little
"pocket" that captures the damn thing. This reduces my access
to the TQ bolts to zero.

What am I missing? PLEASE don't tell me I have to remove
the front cross member, as that job loos like I will have to remove
the entire front suspension, leading to another ton of undiscovered
miserable issues yet to come. What am I missing here?

Thanks!!!

ps: I made this hoist adapter, think it will hold?
