Default 2006 Limited shuddering during low speed turns.

When making slow turns, as when pulling into or backing out of a parking place, the front end shudders.
Also low range can't be engaged and I get a message that reads "service 4 wheel drive system".
So far the dealership has replaced the transfer case and the front axle lock actuator.
Neither of these "repairs" worked although after the actuator was replaced the car did go more than 500 miles before the problem resurfaced.
A different dealer recommended replacing the power train control module. I did so but the problem persists.
Your thoughts please.

I don't know if I have full time or not. How can I verify?

Take a picture of your 4WD lever and post it. Don't move the lever, just take a pic. That will tell us what you have, and might clear up the mystery of the shuddering.

At the base of the lever on the right side there is an indicator light labeled "N".
I assume it's supposed to light up when in neutral but it does not.

Thanks for the pic. The quadra=drive had a clutch in the transfer case. As they wear, they can begin to chatter and not operate smoothly. The world won't end. An oil change might help

The world may not end but it would be nice to have low range available.

I agree. But that is a separate issue from the shuddering
