2006 WK build
Just purchased a clean used 2006 Grand Cherokee and am going to build it over the next few months.
1.To start with I would like to understand the differences in a few of the name brand lift kits. I am looking at installing an OME 2" kits which seems to run about $1k, while the Rancho kit is a couple hundred but is only a few spacers. I also want to understand the differences between 4" kits that might be available. If any one has opinions I would like to hear them?
2. Secondly I want to put a tuner chip in the Jeep like the Superchip Trail unit or DIablo and again I'm looking for opinions.
3. Lastly I think I want a cat back exhaust so any opinions are again welcome.
thanks...

I have a 2004 wj, it has coil springs on all 4 corners. I'm looking at a 2.5" lift from fat bobs garage. No spacers, w/bilsteins and new sway bar links, steering stabilizer for about $750.00. Trying to decide on the track bar replacement so about another $190-250. I installed a borla cat back exhaust & a k&n cold air intake. I'm currently running stock gears in the front and rear, (daily driver so i'm only going to run 32's) currently running 245/75/16 (30's). I run a superchips vivid tuner. Runs great, good throttle response, modest increase in mileage. After lift i'm going to look into headers, leaning towards doug thorley. After that tires & wheels, then fab the front a rear bumpers.

Had not heard about Fat Bobs! there are so many unknown products to the newbie in this activity.. I'll check into that. Meanwhile do you have your Superchip programed for premium fuel or??? I intend to upgrade my exhaust and intake as well interested in how yours turns out. Wonder how your fuel mileage will be with a chip and big tires?

sorry, haven't been on in a while. I've programmed the chip for premium (91 octane). Had it installed for about 20 months. Got my lift from fat bob's and hopefully will have it installed about feb 5th. went with JKS adj track bar.
