2011 Grand Cherokee Overland
I tried to search for some answers I came up with too many replies. I just bought a 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland and I don’t know what model it is. How do I tell? I need to replace a headlamp I don’t know if I replace just a lamp or the entire assembly.

Not sure what you mean by "model", if it's an Overland it says 'Overland' on the tailgate, and if it's a Summit Edition, it says 'Overland Summit' on the tailgate. I think the Overlands have HID (Xenon High Intensity Discharge) headlamps, whereas standard Grand Cherokee models (Laredo and Limited) have standard halogens. You can get a replacement bulb, and it won't be cheap, but you can get replacement bulbs.

I guess I was wondering if it was a ZJ/WJ/WK?
Forum header shows it is WK due to build date.
headlamp is a D1S, sort of a pain to swap...
thanks for the reply
