I own a 2012 jeep grand Cherokee , I have had transmission problems soon after my purchase, its constantly shifting gears like it doesn't know you will be starting off or turning corners and it will drop into such a low gear that it wants to stall out, other times it jumps it a higher gear it takes off , it also seems while driving that it feels like its dragging . it clunks often when it shifts gears , all and all its a terrible ride, I have had it to he dealer several times and explain to them the issues and every time they state there is nothing wrong. has anyone else experienced issues like described and did you have the problem corrected

Do you have the 3.6L V6 or the 5.7L HEMI V8? I can't remember what year they changed from the Mercedes-Benz sourced W5A580 (5-speed) unit to what I believe is an Aisin-sourced 6-speed unit. Both have issues, and you my want to check the transmission programming and have it reprogrammed, if necessary.
