I can promise you flat out that I will never curse God - no matter how hot it gets.

The Bible says that in the latter days men will curse God because of the heat, and that the cattle are perplexed because all the green grass is burnt up. If you study your Bible it is plain to see that we are already in the eleventh hour, it's going to get a whole lot worse before long.

New Jerusalem will be like Noahs Ark, with the Lords' people safe inside while this destruction goes through its phases. It says that in between the phases we will walk outside and the wicked will be ashes under our feet. But in the days of Noah and again in Sodddom wickedness rose again from the mud and ashes, so God is going to make durn sure that don't happen again. The entire planet will be incinerated and replaced with a brand new Earth, returned to the garden of eden condition of Gods' original creation.

Gentlemen, while this is enlightening, it stretches the rules of the forum. At best, it belongs in "Off Topic Discussion." An off-handed comment about the weather should not have started a Bible Study course for anybody. While I welcome this discussion, it does nothing to further the topic of this thread.
This is one of the reasons I LEFT my church. EVERY discussion turned into an interpretation of God's ultimate design. I will live my life as I believe God wants me to and in the end HE will judge me, not anyone else.

Cleman, I'm not saying you should, I'm just saying there is a place for it! I have nothing against God's Word, but there are enough people here that can get turned off by it, and it has no place in a discussion about mechanical problems. Peace, brother!

Glad to hear you made some progress Dave. Interesting tip about the head bolt too, although I was aware of that it does remind me.

Well, there you go! I knew about it, but forgot in my haste to get her back on the road! It's always the stupid things that come back to bite you, isn't it?
The way I found the leak was standing there, staring at my engine and pondering where it might be leaking. The engine had cooled off pretty much by then and I happened to see the first exhaust manifold bolt was wet. The proverbial flashbulb when off in my head! I knew exactly where the coolant was going. That's why I could smell it, but couldn't find it! SOAB!

Hm. I have never had my head off yet, so, not sure this would be my issue but will look into it.

I never thought of that either, just an experience thing I guess. Sorry about inciting the biblical topic, I was just referring to the bible to show that man had apparently experienced global disaster before. Whether it was a god or physics I do not claim to know. How's that jeep doing now? Has the problem gone away for good? How long would it take to clean the carbon deposits out? I'm sure any deposits would absorb anything near when cooling down, like fuel or moisture or even oil somehow, then burn it out when it runs again. I have two extra coil packs I would have given you if I was nearby. It just goes to show that the simplest thing can be overlooked by the best, just because it doesn't seem "complex" enough, lol. Does that make sense?
