4 WD Service Alert
Hello,
I am new to the forum. If I am in the wrong place, please let me know. I have a Grand Cherokee 2011 and the 4 WD Service Alert light has come on. I took it to my repair shop and they said it was the 4 WD module that needed to be replaced. The 4 WD system is working and that only problem is the module itself. They also said that this module is on nationwide backorder and would cost in the neighborhood of $1300. I checked online and there seem to be these modules available for around $500. If I got one of these and changed it out would that fix the problem? Any suggestions are appreciated.
