5.2 ZJ Starting issues
Happened to me yesterday...started up with a little bit of a hesitation but idled normally. Drove it for 5 minutes, stopped turned it off and then it would turn over, start, die...turn over, start, die.
Started it first thing this morning on a cold start worked like there was nothing wrong, drove for 1000ft engine died and steering locked up. Turn over, start, die...turn over, start, die. So I popped it into neutral started it up then shifted to drive and away we went for 5 miles back home.
Has this happened to anyone before? Sound anything usual/unusual?

CF Veteran
Bad battery, sticking idle control valve, and low fuel pressure from a restriction or pimp going bad are the most common things that cause the issue you described.
