5.9 grand cherokee pvc valve

according to a you tube video it is located on the passenger side valve cover right?
well i tried taking it off and i broke it. it was super brittle and when i finally pryed it out of the old grommet the new one i bought at auto zone did not fit any advice?

Yeah, don't buy them at Autozone! I walked into AZ with a Mopar part number and they told me that was the wrong part! Their computer said so!

Welcome to the forum.

Mine were replaced w/ the Mopar 0294 6079 Crankcase Vent Grommet and the Mopar 5303 0017 Crankcase Vent Grommet. They can be a butt pain to replace but the new ones work better than the old.

IMO it is much better to R/R the grommets when the rocker is removed from the engine. The PCV valve grommet is VERY difficult to R/R.
