I have a 2004 jeep liberty,where does the wiring harness go into it at?

Into what exactly? the harness on all cars would connect to many sensors and sending units.

The p-0740, and p-0700 are showing transmission issues,700 is a more than 200 rpm difference between the torque converter and the input shaft, and 740 is a detected fault in the transmission control module.

Actually a P0740 is a fault with the torque converter clutch not engaging. I've had one for 5 years and am still driving it. I've replaced the solenoid and cleaned the drainback check valve and still have the code. I refuse to tear into the transmission to change the torque converter just for a 200 rpm reduction on the highway.
