Are all the readings in the dash display normal? Is there any changes from the cold start?...I have no probs on my 4.0 here on the north island bro.

Your 93 still has a carbeurater, correct? I would suspect fuel boilover causing a wet starting condition. Possibly the float level is set too high or the needle is leaking causing it to overfill after shutdown. A good way to check this is start it up, shut it down, wait about 3 or 4 minutes and break loose the fuel line at the carb. You should still have pressure in the line. If not it's bleeding off either thru the float needle or the fuel pump back to tank.
I hope this helps. Not too many people know carbs anymore. I started working on cars in 1961.

I had the same problem with a '89 Chevy truck. For some reason, the computer was shutting down the fuel pump. My final fix was to hotwire the fuel pump relay to the ignition. YOU may not want to do that because in an accident, the fuel pump stays running. Mine was stalling every time you shifted into reverse and once in a while if I sat too long at a red light. This was also Gen 1 computer system and I didn't want to mess with it.
The pump is submerged in fuel most of the time, so I don't think you're losing prime. You may have a leaky injector not closing completely, but I think your problem is gremlins in the electronics.
