almost to the point of buying a freshly rebuilt tranny off ebay for $900. instead of sinking $500 into the old one. at least with the rebuilt you get 3 year or 100,000 mile warranty. more than likely 3 years of course.

i know i hate putting money into a lost cause but the prev owner said it was rebuilt at 119,000 and it now sits at 126,000. i dont know wtf to do?.....think im gonna try the temp sensor next. going to the junk yard to find a wrecked one so hopfully the tranny and all its sensors are still good!! just gonna start replacing sensors until i figure it out, then buy a new one of what evrer the f it is. i diagnose everything on my jeep before replacing it....this one is my girls and i dont have that kind of time.......she wants it fixed yesterday!!

just got back in town after a lil vacation and still see no post on here. Did you ever figure out the problem? I'm still having issues but im back to workin on it now.

nope havnt worked on it in a while...working on my xj rock crawler. i have to get it fixed soon. heading to the jy this weekend to grab some parts to throw at it.

did u change the pressure sensor and solenoid? if not, I just saw a great deal on ebay, wish i had seen it BEFORE i bought mine! You can get a solenoid kit with wiring harness for $165, or the entire valve body for $190. I paid 180 just for the solenoid pack. I also looked into the transmission fluid temperature thermistor, but from what i have found thats either integrated into the governor solenoid, or its underneath the clutch contel valve in the valve body. I havent looked yet.
