95 rear breaks. help
I recently got a 95 grand cherokee. the brakes didn't work well and the pedal was firm. then it sounded like something fell off and it felt like I ran over something. I couldn't find anything that fell off nor anything I could have run over.
I removed the wheel and the drum and all the e-brake parts and pieces fell on the ground. most parts were squished or twisted. i ordered shoes and a hardware kit and all the parts matched up. I have been looking at rear brake posts and I have no wheel cylinder or parking brake strut or spring.
seeing the brake shoes and hardware kit is the only things I've seen, what else should I get and how should it go back together?

That's a very confusing post. Do you have rear drum brakes or rear disc brakes? If they are discs, you won't have a cylinder for the e-brake. It's operated by a cable.
