95 ZJ A/C Problem
My 95 ZJ A/C stopped working one day. I thought it was the compressor so I replaced it and nothing changed. Still just hot air coming out. I don't have any leaks in my lines. I'm not sure what else it could be. So I'm asking if anyone can help me out?

Welcome to the forum.
The correct model year OEM Factory Service Manual (FSM) has excellent information on everything, including the A/C system. The FSM is a required tool for anyone turning their own wrenches on this vehicle.
The A/C system is typical of other vehicles, so similar service steps are applicable, including vacuum evacuation / leak testing.
One "typical" ZJ failure is the vacuum line from the HVAC box under the dash, through the firewall, attached to the engine can snap off at the firewall. When that happens none of the HVAC doors operate properly and instead revert to the spring loaded position. Also the vacuum accumulator under the battery may also become detached.
This topic shows my total A/C replacement. It has been working fine since replacement six years ago..

My 1995 4.0L A/C wasn't working, the high-pressure switch was bad. I attached the gauge that comes with the A/C charging kit to the low pressure side and it pegged the
needle, changed the high-pressure switch, crossed the low pressure switch to engage the compressor and recharged the system....cold air.
