Default 97 Cherokee Laredo, both driver side windows not working?

I recently purchased a 97 grand Cherokee and shortly after I noticed that both of my driver side windows won’t roll down with the main control, also my left rear blinker isn’t receiving power for some reason. The brake light works but the back up light and blinker do not. I bought a new bulb and after it didn’t work I tested the socket with a volt meter and there’s no power. My grandfather who used to own a similar Jeep mentioned the window issues could have something to do with the main power wire inside the drivers door. I’m new to jeeps and fairly inexperienced. Any help is greatly appreciated!

You have a Grand Cherokee? OR a Cherokee? They are two different vehicles, thus the terms are not interchangeable. Please clarify which one you have.

You say 97 Grand Cherokee, which is a ZJ (93-98). To the left it says you have a WK2, with a 4.0L inline 6. The WK2 was a 2010 model, and the 4.0L was not available.

Im confused.

Okay, now that we finally know which vehicle we are talking about, I can direct you to the correct forum for a technical question. You'll find it here.
