‘97 Grand Cherokee hatch dome light gets no power

Model: Cherokee (XJ)
‘97 Grand Cherokee hatch dome light gets no power
All the interior/courtesy lights turn on except the dome in the very back. I’ve checked all fuses and door switches, but checking with a multimeter it shows no power at all. Any help is great thanks.

Old fart with a wrench
Press on the lens. It should turn on. There's a switch in the housing.
