yes a 6.1 and be dropped in a ZJ. anything can be swapped into anything if you have the time tools skill and money...... the rhino ZJ if i remember correctly has a 6.1 in it
Can we just let the thread die now?? Omg... yes it can be done with time skillz tools and money still not for 10k... point is op has none of the mentioned. I just thought it was funny how nonchalant he was about a swap like this for his "supersleeper" and he knew it was gonna cost him "like" 10 grand... duh sure y not? Thats funny right? Its a pretty worthless thread so i think ppl should stop chiming in like they know something.. zero useful info in this
thread..

Yeah well i guess i could just unsubscribe from it huh.. by all means if ur into making a "supersleeper" using an SRT drivetrain too.. go for it. The facts in this thread are common sense ruby.. i dont know if you cant see that but chrysler totally changed everything and the technology that was put into the next generation of chrysler motors/drivetrains(6.1/6.4 w/ mercedes built 5speed auto) is leaps and bounds ahead of the trusty but archiac 5.2/5.9 engines and the chrysler made trans(42,44,46 re's and rh's). Of course u can make anything to work but like i said before this kids biggest enemy is gonna be cash.. 20 grand+ doing the work himself... atleast .. which we determined he cant. SRT stuff aint cheap.. 40-50k paying someone maybe? ..anyway not into arguing on forums but sorry if i came off a bit brash i just keep getting updates.. "will srt8 engine even fit?" Stuff like that..u can make it fit of course.. the best way imo for him to get a "sleeper" zj would be to buy and swap a 5.9/46re and then buy a 408 stroker kit from mopar and build that.. that kinda sounds like a 10k project.. maybe.. thats about as useful as this thread is gonna get IMO... no hard feelings little rudy..

I wonder if you make back handed comments like that in person, kiddo.

If you learned how to read you would know I suggested an ls motor, not an srt engine. Before you tell me how expensive it is, I'll let you know that I already have an ls3 swapped vehicle, so there's no need to try and make smart *** remarks about how I don't know what I'm talking about. I also happen to have an srt-8, so you can cross that off your list too.

Pro-tip: move out of your moms house and show some respect to people that are merely commenting and giving suggestions.
