The 5.9L runs hotter than the other engines. I'd make sure the electric cooling fan* is coming on correctly, at the right temps. If that isn't the problem, I'd flush the radiator, and check out the water-pump.
And Welcome to CF!

*With Max-Cooling Package.

If yours has the Max Cooling package with the electric fan, there should be a temp. sensor in both the upper and lower rad. hoses. Plus there are fuses and 2 (a hi-speed and a lo-speed) relays that control the fan.

ok yeah it has the electric fan i found the sensor on the lower hose coming from water pump but thats the only one i have seen so far. i still think i have clogged radiator though since im not getting any movement when i have my cap off the coolant just sits there and after a while it actually starts over flowing from the cap area

It's supposed to have a sensor in the upper hose from the t-stat housing to the radiator too.

There you go. That's at least part of the problem.

The manual calls the upper a "Hose assembly (w/steel tee)" that the fan switch screws into.

If you can't buy it somewhere you'll have to make one. (The steel Tee section).

Maybe you've got a stuck/bad t-stat?
