Airbag Light help
I have a 2008 Grand Cherokee Loredo with a 3.7l. I recently had my win replaced and got two new keys at the local dealership. When I picked up my Jeep the "Airbag Light" was on. Before I left I asked them why it was on? They said the don't know! Now before I took it to the dealer the light was not on! Anyway I took it back for a code scan. They said the ORC module could be the problem but with out further digging they couldn't be for sure! I opted not to do that because I just spent $665 for the WIN problem!
Does anyone know how to reset the airbag light?
I also remember that when the WIN first quite working I did some investigating of my own. Checking the battery, fuses, and starter. All were good! However to get to the starter I had to move the Jeep a couple feet to get a jack under it. To do this I had to access the emergency unlock transmision button next to the shifter. My question now is this.
Did doing that with the emergency transmission release button cause the airbag light to come on?
Again how do I reset this airbag light?
Thanks for the help!

All I can tell you is my experiences with a intermittent air bag light on my '00 WJ. The body module does a systems circuit check of the airbag at intervals. If it finds fault with the circuit, it turns on the light. The only way to reset it is to repair the circuit fault. I paid $630 for diagnosis and replacement of the steering wheel clockspring.
