Another HVAC question
97 grand Cherokee limited.. I have no lights on my HVAC controls I have a picture of the back if I am missing a wire I can't find it??? Also I did have air and heat coming out of my feet vents and defroster. Now it only comes out the defroster I checked under the battery, replaced some
Vacuum lines? I can't figure this out, also when I turn the selector **** it's either on or off? Nothing between? Just feels loose? Thanks for the help again

Yes lights did work before I pulled the dash apart I'll probably search around in there tomorrow some more, I have looked before but maybe something just feel Down there has to be wires that go there bc I accidentally touched a screwdriver to it and it sparked..

Ok so I dug around behind the dash and I got nothing? Just seems odd that those terminals are there and there is nothing that connects to them? Can anyone take a look and see? This is really bothering me.. Any help please

Does it have the Automatic Temperature Control system? If so, I looked at the FSM, and the only thing I could see was that maybe that's where the outside solar sensor and inside temperature sensor wires connect to the control panel. On the Manual ac/heater control panel, it wouldn't have those.
The Automatic system has 2 large and 1 small dial, and a temp. display screen. The manual system has 3 large dials.

It's manual with the 3 large dials. It just doesn't make sense that the lights stopped working on it and the middle switch just doesn't feel like it has any pressure when turning it any way to test vacuum? I checked all the lines and replaced some and still nothing?

I believe when you pulled the control panel from the dash the part that connects to those tabs in question somehow got snagged and was left in the dash. The picture/diagram in the FSM showing the rear of it looks different than yours. My printer/scanner is inop at the moment so I can't show you what I'm talking about. I think if you feel around in there (with the key off) you might find the other part.

Unless someone else took it apart before there is nothing in the dash I have it completely open and can't find anything? What does this "piece" look like? I have been in the dash multiple times and once for 45 minutes digging around and I got nothing?
