Mine will go forward or backward till I stop then it acts like it's stuck in neutral but if I put it in neutral or park it tries to die. I was thinking solenoid also but I'm not a transmission guy either I don't want to throw parts at it till I get it.
If any one could tell me what it is I'd sure appreciate it.

I pulled my transmission relay and mine continued to act up I pulled wires off transmission cleaned connections plugs seemed a little better but still doing it. What's my next step I can't take it to shop my truck got stolen so the jeep is all I have
