No its not normal to get that hop. Do the awd bmw and audi's do that? No. Do you think when the zjs first came out that consumers would of wanted to buy it if it hopped like that? No. Anyways yes you do have a 249 and ill bet my dinner that your VC is shot.

Yes i have a right hand drive, as its an export model as i live in the channel islands.

These guys on the forums took me on some trails for my first time, - showed me how to disconnect sway - and POOF! NO hopping at all in this 94 stock ZJ with a 249 Tcase. My sway bar was rubbing against the suspension skid plate, thus making the hopping on turns....
So to the OP - these guys are right. Don't bet this guy dinner! ZJ shouldn't hop. Thanks guys!! Everyday I learn more cuz of this forum!!
