bed liner lower side panels
Well I did it. Not sure how good it will be or if I like it ,but its done. I purchased gator II bed liner and a shutch gun and sprayed it on. Ground the little nibbs off first, hit the sides with 180 orbit washed it with xylene and sprayed it. No turning back now. Hope this product is 1/2 as good as they claim on the box.

Here is one with the tape off and I will get the wheels back on a bit later and get it outside to really look at how it is.

Over spray. I bought the air applicator to put it on. works really good. Can't imagine trying to brush or roll this stuff after seeing what it looks like. basically one can of lumpy tar and one can of clear liquid to thin it, mix it for a while let sit 10 min and apply.

Its a spray gun, but not like a paint sprayer. more like one of those parts washing tools you put air through and it syphons varsol or whatever up and sprays it. It cost 45 bucks for the sprayer thing. my regulator was not working at least the guage was not working but you need about 40-60 lbs of air to make it work. there is no mist type over spray it more like flying pebbles of black yuck. If you get to close you can feel them hitting your face. This product cleaned up pretty easy.

As far as the texture goes I really like the way it looks. Really glad I purchased that gun. I really could not see rolling or brushing it on with much quality. Now I hope the stuff don't flake off when it get -30 out. I can see it getting cold and hitting a bump and the stuff shatters. Ya I know I am kind of a sceptic on buying stuff that says "As Seen on TV" on the box.
Now lets some pics
