Blower Motor Won't Shut Off
I have a 2001 Grand Cherokee and the blower won't shut of when the car is turned off. To set the stage on this - the blower motor and resistor were replaced a month or so ago.
I assume this problem is the relay but I'll be darned if I can find it anywhere?
Any thoughts or previous experience with this issue is much appreciated.

Hi Ron - thanks for the info but I a have a question from this,
Is this illustration for a 2001 Grand Cherokee and is this in the engine compartment not inside by the blower motor and resistor?

This pic is from under dash pass side By what I see you can drop glove box and it should be behind it.
I looked online to find it (Google) and yes it says 2001 Grand Cherokee

Ron,
I pulled the glove box and couldn't find anything that looks like that and pulled the passenger side kick panel and could find anything like that either.
Now I am really stumped....
Thanks,
Tim

Same issue with Blower 2000 grand Cherokee
I am trying to fix my son's 2000 Grand Cherokee. The blower will not shut down even after key has been turned off. The only way to shut it off is by removing fuse. I changed the resistor in the summer. I am looking to see if there is a power motor relay or blower relay of some kind that needs replaced? I have removed glove box and did not find a relay and fuse box does not have anything behind it. Please help or point me to the right forum/thread. Thanks.

Blower motor won’t shut off 2001 grand Cherokee
I’m having same issue. Just replace resistor module yesterday and everything worked. Today I move vehicle into the garage shut it off and the blower fan will not shut off (vehicle keys pulled out) . I disconnected starting battery and reconnected it and same problem. What the heck! Any ideas ? I read something about relay but where is it ?
