Thank you for the advice jnice. Ill get that done just as soon as I get time. So far my dad just wants to send it to a junk yard but I will see once what happens.

Ik its not an with the tail pipe becuase i have driven the jeep without the tail pipe and have driven it without the muffler AND tail pipe but the cat and muffler still glowed.

time for a diagnostician you have a fuel problem very likely is an injector but to many possibilities with the computer a bad coolant sensor or such could be telling the puter to adjust timing &fuel
