Anything that is OBDII capable will read and clear codes on your rig. An actual scan tool is more helpful when it comes to diagnostic apps.

Yep, like said above. You can find code readers under $100 or less than $50 too. or you can find plenty of scanners up to $5000 and even over $10,000.
Go to your local parts store (oreillys, autozone) they will pull codes for free, but they also sell the cheaper code readers.
