XJ convenience spares are great in pairs. The small diameter and width make burnouts fun & easy. I would like to try four of them using 4WD.

The really funny thing is when I needed a spare wheel for my Chevy 4X4, I found one on the side of the road! Chrome and everything! I mounted it on my truck and spun it up. It ran true and didn't have any dents. I have NO idea how it got there. Maybe it fell off the back of a scrapper's truck. Things like that just don't happen to me!

Please post the video! lol. I have actually seen a few short commute low budget vehicles with all donut tires because they could be had for cheap from the Wrecking yards.

LMAO!! I once bought a Chevy for parts and when I picked it up, it had 4 on it. A Monte Carlo looks weird with skinny tires on it!

I miss the old days also where one rim fit like 20 cars,And the trucks a 8 lug was the same gm ford and dodge.Even a dodge dana 60 leaf spring would bolt in a 80s gm truck with off set spring bushings.Today they make one rim for one car and the next body style the rims are way different size and everything. And don't get me started on the trucks they make today.

No such thing around here. The only things they pick up curbside is household trash and recycleables. Hazardous waste, like oil bottles have to be taken to a special drop-off center by appointment only. I take mine to my friends garage. He has a business pick-up that takes stuff like that as well as used parts, metal, and such. Used electronics are taken by some bottle-return places. The town picks up yard stuff like tree branches and grass trimmings once a month during the summer.

If you put steel or aluminum or appliances out on the curb, the scrappers will take them. If they don't, you have to take them to the waste facility yourself and pay to leave it. I tried to take an A/C window unit to the center and they wouldn't accept it without a certificate from some business saying it had been evacated of refrigerant. This is, after all, a liberal state!

It is now to the point where all the re-engineering is pointless and just a scam.

Yeah. I once asked my dad why they make cars so difficult to work on and he said "You don't think they want you working on your car yourself, do you?"
