NO! A c-clip axle shouldn't have that much play in it! MAYBE a 16th at most. The c-clips are captured between the side gears and the planetary cross-shaft. With that much play, the c-clips can fall out. Pull the cover and look at them! If they're gone, the brake rotors are the only thing holding the shafts in.

Alright guys, so i finally resolved it.
After replacing all of those components I took it in for an alignment, on the way to get the alignment i had no issues, and coming back from getting it aligned it did this like 7 times -.-
I just figured there was something i missed so i started going over all the components i hadn't checked, such as the rear suspension, the shocks, ext. After checking all of this and finding no further issues I decided to go back and check the rest of what i had checked before.
Come to find out, the track bar bracket to frame bolts were loose "i could spin them freely with my fingers" which is extremely unnerving considering i double checked the torque on these before the alignment, and at 95ft lbs its highly unlikely that they backed out on their own... I guess this shop will no longer be getting my business. "I also made the mistake of telling them what the original issue was and why i had replaced everything myself"
