so mine has both of the tags just like the picture! And it has the same date and year stamped onto it like this one!

The date stamped on the cover is the date the cover was fabricated, not the date the axle was manufactured.

The second tag shows that the axle is anti slip and requires the friction modifier.

Well I think I may have to retract what I said. The carrier assembly of a True-Trac factory limited slip is barrel shaped across the center rather than cone shaped, but after starring at your picture I see the side gears are more exposed than an open diff and it does look barrel-shaped. There are clutch packs behind those side gears and that's why the gears hang out farther. The one I'm most familiar with is the GM Positraction and that has preload springs and plates in the center.

I sit corrected. Sorry to mislead you. I'm just an old fart with a wrench or two!

Yes, if you spin one rear tire it either won't spin if it's in park or the other will spin the same direction if in neutral. An open diff will spin in the opposite direction if the trans is in park.
