Do I need to take my throttle body off to clean it?

Default Do I need to take my throttle body off to clean it?
Or can I just spray the cleaner in as its running?

Take it off. That way you can scrub on it better. And you don't risk getting bad gunk inside the manifold.

As I submitted this I realized it would probably be best to take it off. I think it's just four bolts holding it on.

Plus the linkage.
