Done, thats it... ENOUGH!!
ok so... even after everything seeming fine with a new alternator, battery and computer... its starting the same **** all over again! So I'm done. After all the money I've dumped into this **** box over the years and having problem after problem... I'm done with it! No more! Anyone that lives in the new york area want to come look at it and ****in take it? 3.5in rubicon express suspension, 31.5" tires barely driven on, rebuilt tranny with about 15k on it, newish T-case with less then 10k, rebuilt rear dana44 with about 20k on it, Kenwood DDX8017 in the dash, Flowmaster exhaust, MSD ignition, and K&N Intake, Viper 2 way alarm... Make me an offer. Take this hell away from me!!!!!!!!

it feels like its getting ready to cook my new batteries, alternator, and computer again. It's giving me all the signs it had when it happened the first time. Massive amounts of noise in the stereo, the VIC goes nuts with errors and turns itself on and off, the overhead console turns on and off, the alarm starts acting trippy.... just wacky electrical problems! And I also noticed, that if I let it sit for a couple days, the battery is down to 11.9ish but I can't find anything drawing! I added a nice digital external battery meter to keep a better eye on it. This says 14.8 before it warms up. is that too high?
Assuming I'm uploading the picture right... The black thing behind the alternator... What exactly is that? and could that cause strange charging if it goes bad?

Comp is refurb with lifetime warranty. This is the 3rd comp to be in this Jeep. (1: Original, 2: One from another Jeep I had, and then 3: the refurb) All with the same issue. Can't be comp related.
Dual Battery set-up was done by myself, not a kit. Pos is 4ga wire from front battery directly to rear, then from rear to fused distro block, then amps. Down the line I'd love to change that 4ga to a 0ga... but one thing at a time ya know! Plus... since these issues I've barely even used the amps. I keep everything off just because of the situation. During the 2nd comp, batt and alt failures the amps weren't even hooked up at all! So I know thats not the issue. I also have my amps on there own grounds not on a block.
The only thing I can logically think of is during the first electrical failure SOMETHING other then the alternator, battery, and computer fried and whatever that thing is, keeps causing the same failures to happen... BUT WHAT?!?! I know I'm not underpowered this time. Its a 200amp alternator with 2 kinetik 1800 batteries!! And I barely used my system since this new setup! And when I did use it, voltage never dropped below 12, and lights didn't even dim.
I know I'm gonna hear it because of the stereo system... but I assure you, thats not whats causing the problems! Like I said, I changed all 3 of those things before at the same time and left the amps disconnected completely. Within a month, Everything was toasted again!!! I'M MISSING SOMETHING!!!
