Default ELEC. HELP

Hi im new here. My name is Wayne. I am from PA. I have owned jeep g. cherokees for 20 plus years. My currant one is an 05 limited withe the hemi engine. About 6 months ago i put in a new alternator & battery. The other week the radio, all the indicator lights would flash on & off & also the heated seats wouldnt work. Now just today late in the day i tried to start it & nothing happened. All the dash indicator lights came on & thats it. Anyone have any ideas ? Thank you

I would begin by refreshing the battery cables and posts.

Ok here is what i did. I cleaned the battery post & cable ends. Still nothing. So i jumped start it & got it running. I know when it came to the older stuff you could pull the neg. battery cable off & if it died the alternator was bad. Im not to sure if that works with this new stuff but anyways i pulled the neg. cable off & it died. The alternator is about a year old. So i called napa & they told me that my alternator has a life time warranty. I got a new one & put it in. So fare every thing seams fine except for the engine light came back on. Thats been on for awhile now. One last question- The passenger air bag light is on saying thats its off. Is there a way for me to turn it back on or do i have to take it to a dealership ? Its been on ever since i bought it. Thank you

What is the trouble code triggered by the engine light?
Your Jeep is trying to tell you something and you're not paying attention.
