Default Engine help

I need help identifying this part on my 1998 grand cherokee limited 5.9. This is not an actual picutre of mine, that sensor does not have any wiring harness near it at all, i cannot seem to find how to plug it in, and i dont know what sensor it is. The engine overheats and i beleive it may be from this
