Front pasenger side axle.......
Hey all, I am trying to install a new right side axle in the front of my WJ. It's bone stock and should be easy but it seems both the old axle and the new one are about an inch and a half too long. I have taken apart the old CV assembly and see where it should compress in at least theoretically. Is there a trick because I have ben at this for 6.5 hours now and have searched this site and the internet with no luck except one guy who had the same issue on a ask a mechanic site and the mechanic had no clue.......any insight would be helpful as this is my daily driver and without it I am stuck....esp with 2 disabled children.....Thanks in advance......

Hmmmm....
Seems I found my answer on another Jeep forum......The Quadra Trac II is not full time 4WD and I got the axle for the full time which is the Quadra Drive which is an inch longer than the one for the Selectrac and Quadra Trac II systems......Hope this helps someone else out there.....only took me 8.5 hours to find the answer.......but I figured it out......at least the forums are here for people to search.....
