Your trans is toast. Flat out. Start looking for a used one now. That flush freed up gunk and crap. Blocking valves, sticking *****. Doing all sorts of damage.

Id put my xj on that

Almost like tps but o2 sensor should pick up and still drive acceleration. Trying to keep questions simple. So when you press the gas the rpms just sit there and the car doesn't move our does it torque up but sit there? I wish you were near me. I would just come over and check it out.

thanks, I believe it is all transmission, but just thought I might be missing something dumb, I know there are so many sensors on cars now. My Dad took everything off my camero before he passed and it runs perfect....old school he called it!!!!

Drain & change the transmission fluid, make sure you use the correct fluid to refill. Maybe I missed it in all the excitment, have you checked the fluid level?

there is either 0 torque, well very little, or it's like let's kick *** and burn rubber! Totally intermittent.

and ya I made sure we put in the right fluid when it was flushed...I know chrysler has a certain type.........

Sounds like my grandpa. He hated new sensors, and emissions crap. Sorry for you loss

PEOPLE.....ITS A TRANS ISSUE. THERE IS NOTHING ELSE TO EXPLORE HERE.

Maybe, and i mean maybe(chances are very slim) another flush will do it. But its very unlikely that you will be able to clean all that gunk from the valve bodies in the trans

I just bought it with 150,000 miles, I noticed it after driving it the first day, I like to go when I want to go, and this thing just don't when it feels like it. So far for me not time, temp or anything else matters, like it has intermittent PMS!!!!

It really may not fix it. Usually a trans needs to be torn apart after this happens.

Jack? If he will fix your cherokee great. Otherwise. Start looking for a donor trans. Its really not hard to swap them. And were all here to help if you need it.
