Grounding issue
Recently my 2000 jeep grand Cherokee lardeo stopped wanting to turn over and start. I have replaced the starter and ignition switch. After consulting with my brother(he's a mechanic) he seems to think its a bad ground. Which makes sense because i hit something and knocked 2 wires loose. When that happened it wouldn't start. I bolted those 2 wires on to the frame and when i did that i would get really weak starts. Now my car wont turn over at all. He says that these wires are supposed to be mounted to the block. Can someone tell me where if thats the case
? I have an idea of where to go just not 100%. Heres a picture of what im talking about

Old fart with a wrench
Okay, I just when out and looked at mine. Those 2 wires are mounted under a bolt in the side of the block right about where they are hanging, in front of the bellhousing/starter brace (which you don't have, has been removed) and the motor mount. It looks like a 3/8 thread, 9/16 head bolt. It's where the old style motor's oil filter adapter would be. It looks like a major system ground.
