Default HELP 1998 Jeep Cherokee Classic Speaker

My front driver side speaker doesnt work what so ever... And My front passenger side speaker only works with the stock headunit, and when the OEM headunit is in, it only picks up the mid's for some reason, any help here?

My drivers side front speaker has a short and goes in and out so I need to re-wire it, after closing and opening the doors for 12 years it's probably time.

Yeah, it might be easier to replace the speakers and run new wires to the radio, eliminating the old wires/problems altogether. JMO

I just did the same thing. The wire feeding the drivers door needed to be replaced. Real easy to do.

Default How to?

Do you have a how-to replace / run these new speaker wires? My wife's 2000 Cherokee Sport has a dead driver's side speaker, and I would like to replace it as well as a new head unit.

Thanks!
