help finding correct valvecover gasket 93 4.0l
Hi, i got a gasket kit from jeep4x4, but the valvecover gasket is to "big", it dont fit on the valve cover. Where can i find one thats fits, its the original valvecover i think, since it got the label on it and the valvecover fits perfect on the cylinderhead, it has a litle edge that fits perfect inside the cylinderhead. I need to run an engine cleaner (seafoam), do i need two gaskets or could i reuse a god one? I want the best gasket i can get.

The rubber/metal infused valve cover gasket is for the later 4.0L's.. i dont remember the year but my 98 ZJ uses it also.
It appears you have the aluminum valve cover... you should be using the Fel-Pro (or similar) cork gasket.
On the later gasket it's used with the metal valve cover with the rubber orings and sleeves that the bolts pass through. The strips of metal going from side to side actually slip over dowels on top of two of the headbolts. You can upgrade if you get the correct valve cover and headbolts.
The later style gasket is three times the money but 10x better at stopping leaks.

Actually there is another gasket for the aluminum cover.. and it's rubber/steel that'll hold up longer than the cork. I had forgotten about it...
