ya coast through turns. keeps the ratcheting sound of the auto locker down and you wont bark the tires. if you drove with a lunchbox locker you wouldnt ask.
and lockers are cheaper, plus you cut the chance of getting stuck in half which cuts the need for the winch in half. GET A LOCKER!
.....then again if your asking if you need something then you dont need it.....

how bad is it with an auto lock in the front? i assume youve driven a vehicle with a front auto lock? i recently got a lock rite for my HP D30 and am considering taking it back an getting an e-locker because i keep hearing that its gonna understeer like a **** and will make it near impossible to drive in the snow...

can someone post a link of where to buy the powertrax for $249. I looked but can't find it that cheap. the only locker I found at that price is the Aussie.
is 2311 the correct part number?

the powertrax locker in the rear will probably be your best bet.
i plan on installing i cant remember the name, it disconnects the front axle so you can put it in 4low and you would really be in 2low for pulling boats up steep and slippery boat launches. its like 200 dollars.
