Question HVAC panel problem, fixed temporarily. AC is always on now.

Bulbs were out, so i decided to put some LEDs as i did on few of my cars previously. Car is 1997 4.0 ZJ laredo, hvac system is manual control without a LCD or auto fonction.(three *****, blower speed, direction of air, heat)

Actually i did, but we lost steel ***** and springs inside middle switch which acts a multipurpose switch, that directs vacuum to different sections of system to direct blown air and it controls system as off, aircondition on for defrost and others.

When we lost ***** inside middle ****, and after several tries with custom made several springs, i decided that this could not be fixed with custom things, and to get heat, actually to make blower work(not to freeze outside), i soldered contacts inside of middle ****( normally combination of three steel ***** direct and close circuit). when three slits soldered, blower works. ac button seems operational with its green LED, bu it has no function.

now system works, AC is always on. when i remove relay(under hood) it goes off. I am wondering if i can find a new unit over ebay but what if they lost ***** or springs inside(there are several listing which can be sent to my country over ebay), ??

so if no chance to find a working unit, if i use wires from AC switch to relay and if i cut original trigger wires on relay, and if i use stock AC switch on panel to trigger relay, will it work? what do you think? by this way it will cut power on relay when i release AC switch. + wire will be supplied with 12 volts from battery with a seperate fuse. when i press Ac switch it will illuminate and it will trigger wire directly and it will turn on AC clutch(like i install relay in its place).

done! i run a new wire to power distibution centre under hood. i disconnected orange colored ground/12 dimmer wire ( i dont know why it is there anyway) on A/C clutch relay side, new cable soldered to cut orange wire. on harness side orange was taped to prevent short circuit. on manual control hvac panel, i run a short length wire from AC button inside panel (from LED + ), and connected two wires. now it works.

at least i do not need to buy a panel from scrap yard. only there is no off mode because of temporarily fixed middle ****. fyi.

another note from yesterday. i connected car to diagnosis device. it shows AC relay DTC code. so if relay is broken or it is removed becasue of a reason, it triggers a code for relay. FYI.
