Are you still getting the P1768? Sounds like its time to break out the wiring diagrams and see if the TCM power relay is working and verify you are getting power to the TCM from the relay.

Where do I get a wiring diagram, and how do I verify that I'm getting power? I know it sounds stupid but I unhooked the TCM completely and surprisingly the jeep started! So I was like hell with it lets see if it will drive, and it did and to my surprise nothing changed it still drove the same no 1st gear and no overdrive...

Sorry I can post pics of my diagrams on here. The TCM gets power from the TCM relay. At the TCM connector there is actually 3 different circuits spliced off the relay. If you can look real close on the hardshell of the connector you will see small numbers that designate the connector pins. The power circuits from the relay are these numbers ( 16, 17 & 36 ) they are red wires and all 3 of them are splice together so they should all have power with the key on. They should be only solid red wires at the TCM connector.

The TCM grounds and TCM relay ground should be the ones on the RH side of the engine. The pin numbers for the ground at the TCM connector are ( 37,39 & 57 ) black with yellow stripe. You might check the grounds too to see if these 3 circuits are grounded.

So to check the grounds I just get a chek light and put power to the grounds USEING the positive side of the battery right?

If you're using B+ (battery positive) for power to your light, any pins that are open or supplied with power won't light your light. Check your grounds with a continuity checker or 0hms side of a multimeter. Check for power with the Volts (DC) side with one lead (black) grounded.
